Job Title: Full-Time Residential Support Worker

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full time (37 hours per week)

Salary: £26, inclusive of shift allowance)

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to provide individualised care and support to young residents. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our young people.

  • Provide high-quality care and support to young residents, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualised care plans that promote the young person's independence and autonomy.
  • Act as a positive role model and advocate for the young people, promoting their dignity and self-esteem.

Requirements:

  • Empathy and a passion for helping young people.
  • Ability to work alternate weekends and bank holidays.
  • Physical ability to participate in activities with young people.
  • Prior knowledge of child protection issues and understanding of the development needs of children and young people is desirable but not essential.

Shift Patterns:

  • 7:30 – 16:30 and 13:00 – 22:00 with alternate weekends off.
  • Willingness to do overnight stays (sleep-ins on a rota basis).
  • Comprehensive induction program and continuous learning and development opportunities.
  • Meals provided on shift.
  • Free onsite parking.
  • 25 days of annual leave per year plus bank holidays.
