MEP Design Manager Opportunity at Salter Grange

We are seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager to join our team at Salter Grange, a leading developer of high-quality residential living and essential amenities. This is a unique opportunity to work on a landmark project in the Stratford Area, combining innovative design with exceptional living spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Management: Lead the MEP design process, coordinating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the design meets client specifications and project requirements.
  • Technical Oversight: Review and validate all MEP design documents, ensuring compliance with current regulations, industry standards, and project objectives.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with the construction team to integrate MEP systems seamlessly with the overall build, addressing any design challenges promptly.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain strong communication with the client, providing updates on design progress and addressing any concerns or queries related to MEP systems.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure that all MEP installations meet the specified design and performance criteria.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the MEP design and develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
  • Sustainability: Ensure that all MEP designs contribute to the sustainability goals of the project, including energy efficiency and low-carbon technologies.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in MEP design management, particularly in large-scale residential or mixed-use developments.
  • A strong understanding of current building regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
