Chief Financial Officer

We are working with a Cornwall-based, private equity-backed services and technology organisation with an international reach to source a Chief Financial Officer.
The organisation is on a strong growth trajectory and requires a CFO who can ensure the finance team and associated infrastructure are fit for purpose, while also working with the CEO to set and drive the strategic direction of the business.
The role will be broad, covering areas such as IT, HR, and customer service elements, with 70% of the role focused on finance and 30% on operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to shape and drive strategy, ensuring the business and its infrastructure grow in a consistent and controlled manner.
Additionally, the CFO will lead an exit on behalf of the current private equity backers.
We are looking for a CFO with experience of leading exit transactions within standalone companies with EBITDA in excess of £1m annually.
Candidates who have been No 2 to a CFO in a standalone or investor-backed business may also be considered, providing an opportunity for someone on the right career trajectory to secure their first PE CFO role.
Our client will provide an expenses budget to cover travel and accommodation if needed, and we would also consider relocators who may be looking to leave the big city for life in the South West.
