Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Audiologist, you will play a key role in providing diagnostic and rehabilitation services to adult and paediatric patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide audiology cover to ENT outpatient clinics, conducting masked air and bone conduction audiometry, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and otoacoustic emission testing.
  • Participate in the provision of a comprehensive diagnostic audiology service, including performance analysis, interpretation, and reporting of routine and complex test procedures.
  • Arrange hearing aids for ENT outpatient patients, including initial assessment, consent, preliminary counselling, and information/test data entry into our patient management system.
  • Manage routine and complex patient pathways, including assessment, history taking, and tailored patient care.

Person Specification

We are looking for an Audiologist with:

  • BSc or equivalent in Audiology.
  • Registration with a professional UK body.
  • Substantial experience in a health organisation.
  • Evidence of management of complex audiological rehabilitation.
