Payroll Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Advisor to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions (JAR Solutions). As a Payroll Advisor, you will play a crucial role in processing payroll for 4,000 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for 4,000 employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including P11d's, P60's, P45's, and pension reports.
  • Respond to queries from employees on pay and pension issues, providing clear and concise information.
  • Manage the auto-pension enrollment process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and colleagues to resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Conduct monthly analysis and reconciliation of pay, benefits, and control accounts.
  • Address complaints and complex payroll queries, providing effective solutions.
  • Support the ongoing upgrading and testing of payroll systems, ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in dealing with large payrolls, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of pensions, including auto-enrollment and compliance.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and resolve issues.
