Job Title: Year 6 Teacher

Job Type: Temporary, Full-time

Job Description:

The Governors and Head Teacher of a school are seeking a Year 6 Teacher to take up a full-time teaching role. The role will involve the full responsibilities of a class teacher, including planning high-quality lesson content, assessing the needs of the children, and meeting with parents to discuss progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to Year 6 students
  • Assess and track student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies
  • Communicate with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working in KS2
  • Recent experience working in a primary setting (at least 6 months)
  • Good behavior management strategies and techniques
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to provide excellent care in the classroom
