Job Description:
The Governors and Head Teacher of a school are seeking a Year 6 Teacher to take up a full-time teaching role. The role will involve the full responsibilities of a class teacher, including planning high-quality lesson content, assessing the needs of the children, and meeting with parents to discuss progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to Year 6 students
- Assess and track student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
- Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies
- Communicate with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working in KS2
- Recent experience working in a primary setting (at least 6 months)
- Good behavior management strategies and techniques
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to provide excellent care in the classroom
