Lead Mechanical Engineer

Gattaca Projects, the Engineering and Technology consultancy arm of the group, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of engineers through project activities to complete projects on time and to high quality standards.
  2. Plan and manage mechanical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met.
  4. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  5. Review technical specifications and develop engineering solutions.
  6. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  7. Oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  8. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
  9. Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
  10. Review and approve project documentation.
  11. Lead technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Master's degree level qualification in mechanical engineering or similar degree.
  2. Minimum of 5 years mechanical engineering experience within a project lifecycle environment.
  3. CEng status preferred.
  4. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  5. Excellent IT skills with the MS Office package.
  6. Strong communicator able to present to various audiences.
  7. Ability to take on new challenges and adapt quickly.
