About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Peel Ports Group's Greenock site. As an Electrician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art Ship to Shore Container Cranes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment on our Ship to Shore Container Cranes
  • Perform routine inspections and testing to ensure electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex electrical issues
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize crane performance
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Electrician in a similar industry or environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including Ship to Shore Container Cranes
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
