Position Overview: As a Vice President within the Investment Banking division at J.P. Morgan, you will play a pivotal role in the UK EPRM (Energy, Power, Renewables & Mining) sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a diverse range of transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and capital raises.
  • Balance client service delivery with the pursuit of new business opportunities and project execution.
  • Lead negotiations with clients, manage the Q&A process, and conduct management interviews.
  • Oversee the development of financial projection models and ensure comprehensive risk management for each deal.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior bankers, enhancing their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in Investment Banking, particularly within the EPRM sector and the UK market.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and take on significant responsibilities.
  • In-depth understanding of the financial, legal, and reputational risks associated with large integrated investment banks.
  • Proficient in technology, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and a quick learner of new software applications.

This role requires a dynamic individual who can adapt to the fast-paced environment of investment banking while delivering exceptional service to clients.
