Job Summary:

Reed Practice is seeking a highly skilled Private Client Tax Manager to join their experienced team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of personal tax compliance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of tax professionals across multiple locations to ensure timely completion of tax compliance tasks.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior team members, including supervision of tax students.
  • Administer a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, company directors, and individuals, to ensure tax compliance deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and review Self Assessment Tax Returns, P11D, CT61, NRL, and CIS returns to meet internal, client, and statutory deadlines.
  • Undertake tax advisory projects as required to support business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues through regular meetings and communication.
  • Contribute to staff appraisal meetings and develop own knowledge and skills to meet continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.
  • Accurately complete timesheets and review selected tax team timesheets on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in personal tax compliance and management of tax teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
