About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team at Hexcel Corporation in Duxford, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sourcing of indirect external spend for the EAP region.
  • Lead and develop supplier relationships to obtain maximum value according to Hexcel growth initiatives and plans.
  • Determine best options and make recommendations by evaluating total cost and quality of indirect materials and services across a diverse range of categories.
  • Procure critical indirect materials and services to meet forecasts, production/maintenance requirements, and aggressive capital project schedules.
  • Develop and implement leading procurement category strategies, identify and leverage company-wide spend opportunities.
  • Lead complex negotiations and represent Sourcing in specific site level negotiations.
  • Continuously improve costs and terms of purchase, and lead in the development and deployment of standard sourcing processes.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in science, engineering, economics, or business preferred.
  • Experience in purchasing, finance, supply chain or sourcing.
  • Leadership qualities, dynamic and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a highly matrix organization.
  • ERP system experience in the finance and/or procurement/supply chain area.
