About the Role

We Help Recruit is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining industrial production machinery across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, repair, and maintain packaging machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose issues to identify root causes.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machinery, to prevent breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Document all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions, in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a related role, with a strong background in electromechanical and/or electronic engineering.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the UK, with a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
