Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Tax Manager to join our dynamic team at TPF Recruitment. As a leading provider of accountancy talent in the SouthEast, we are committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients with precision and expertise, ensuring timely and accurate tax returns.
  • Efficiently handle all compliance matters, including tax planning and advisory services.
  • Prepare personal tax returns for designated clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Draft forms P11D and provide ad-hoc tax advice to clients, ensuring they are fully informed and compliant.
  • Participate in consultancy projects within the department, collaborating with tax partners on share restructuring, EIS/SEIS, EMI, and other project-based tasks.
  • Represent clients in dealings with HM Revenue & Customs, including managing inquiries and resolving any tax-related issues.
Requirements
  • ATT, ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification preferred, but similar qualifications or substantial experience will also be considered.
  • At least 3 years' experience in personal tax within a firm of chartered accountants.
  • Proven experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
  • Strong understanding of personal tax principles and extensive practical experience.
  • Familiarity with basic international tax issues, including domicile, remittance basis, and residency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
