Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at Blue Arrow in Burton on Trent. This is a temporary to permanent role, offering an excellent opportunity to start a career with a fantastic company.

Job Type:

Full-time, temporary to permanent.

Hours:

Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.

Pay Rate:

£11.44.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
  • Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
  • Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer.
  • Stock counting and location checks.
Competencies:
  • Able to work as part of a team and off own initiative.
  • The ability to follow instructions and prioritise workload productively to meet deadline.
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday).
  • Weekly Pay.
