Job Title: Risk Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Lawyer to join our team at Taylor Root. As a Risk Lawyer, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the firm's commercial contracts with its suppliers, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, Review, and Negotiate Commercial Contracts: You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and licensing agreements.
  • Contract Compliance and Risk Management: You will ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, and identify and assess potential risks in contracts and procurement activities.
  • Procurement and Contract Management: You will advise and oversee the legal aspects of the firm's procurement processes and provide advice, guidance, and training to internal stakeholders and teams on contract management, procurement issues, and legal compliance.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor, 5+ PQE
  • Experience: Experience in commercial law, particularly in procurement, and drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Skills: Good understanding of applicable data protection legislation
