Job Type: Full-time, long-term role

Location: London Borough of Havering

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and passionate Psychology Graduate to support students with complex needs in a 'Outstanding' Primary School. As a Pastoral Assistant, you will work closely with an Educational Psychologist and Speech and Language Therapist to provide tailored support to students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Downs Syndrome, and other complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex needs in a pastoral capacity
  • Work closely with Educational Psychologist and Speech and Language Therapist to develop individualized support plans
  • Provide educational support to students in a classroom setting
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistent support for students

Requirements:

  • Psychology Graduate with a passion for supporting students with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Training and CPD opportunities available for all staff
