Role Summary

The Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for the timely and precise preparation of management accounts and financial reports while upholding stringent internal controls. This position entails overseeing the financial records for multiple entities, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and budgetary support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating and evaluating monthly management accounts
  • Performing monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including client reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, payroll, and tax accounts
  • Preparing VAT and EC sales returns along with reconciliations
  • Overseeing intercompany charges and journal entries
  • Assessing performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and delivering monthly insights
  • Presenting financial data to the commercial team
  • Assisting with year-end statutory accounts and collaborating with auditors
  • Contributing to the development of annual overhead budgets
  • Conducting ad hoc financial analyses and tasks as required by the finance department

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will ideally be part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA and possess advanced Excel capabilities, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables. Strong analytical and communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.
