About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated In-House Property Lawyer to join our client's legal team. As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business's property transactions to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and interpret heads of terms for both land purchases and bulk sales.
  • Work closely with the land acquisition teams, external legal counsel, lenders, planning, construction, and technical departments to negotiate and finalize transactions.
  • Structure, negotiate, and draft all essential transaction documents.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure that all conditions of funding agreements have been met, ensuring timely and successful transaction completions.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on transaction progress and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders where necessary.

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Solicitor / CILEX with a focus on residential development.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with various departments, shareholders, and external stakeholders.
