Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Respiratory Physiologist to join our Pulmonary Function and Sleep Team in Grampian. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory services and contributing to the development of our sleep and respiratory physiology services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a full range of respiratory investigations, including lung function testing, respiratory muscle assessment, and sleep studies.
  • Supervise, train, and assess trainees within the department and those on clinical placements.
  • Contribute to the development of our sleep and respiratory physiology services, including the development of a CPET service.
  • Work collaboratively with the Pulmonary Function and Sleep Team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Several years' experience working as a Clinical Respiratory Physiologist with significant competence in a lung function laboratory.
  • Hold a BSc in Respiratory Clinical Physiology, Biological Sciences, or an equivalent qualification such as ARTP Part I/Part II.
  • Be RCCP/AHCS registered or at least eligible and working towards registration.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
