Job Summary:

Round Peg Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Software Verification Lead to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the verification process for our aerospace clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead Requirements-Based Testing: Develop and execute test plans to ensure that our software meets the required standards for safety-critical products.
  • Develop Primary Unit and HiL Test Environments: Design and implement test environments to ensure quicker and higher quality results.
  • Owning the Software Test Plan: Collaborate with the software development team to ensure that the test plan meets company development project timing goals and final flight certification.
  • Support Communication: Facilitate communication between the software development team and the wider project team.
  • Responsible for Verification Aspects: Ensure that the verification aspects of the software development process meet the required standards for Design Assurance Level (DAL) A of RTCA DO-178C.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in software or electrical engineering.
  • Experience in Verification: Previous experience in the verification of embedded software in safety-critical products, e.g. to RTCA DO-178C (or DO-178B) DAL A or B or ISO26262 ASIL D/C.
  • Programming Skills: Experience developing code in C programming language.
  • Scripting Experience: Experience of scripting, for example in Python.
  • Unit Testing: Unit testing using for example.
  • Verification of Model-Based Software: Verification of model-based software using MATLAB.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile software development & DevOps methodologies and industry best practices for software development.
  • Requirements Management Tools: Experience with requirements and lifecycle management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, codeBeamer or Dimensions CM.
