Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our Engineering team at Anderselite LTD. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead projects through their design phases, ensuring that cost-effective, technically compliant, and buildable solutions are delivered in line with stakeholder requirements, programme expectations, and established engineering design procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Champion excellence in Health & Safety (H&S) in design, ensuring full compliance with relevant local specifications, codes, regulations, and H&S legislation.
- Identify and manage H&S hazards, effectively communicating all residual risks to stakeholders.
- Lead the Design team to ensure a focused approach that meets customer requirements and project objectives.
- Manage design expenditure, drive efficiency, and ensure the delivery of design outputs within allocated resource hours and key dates.
- Organize all elements of design, document it in the Design Management Plan, and prepare monthly status update reports as required.
- Attend and contribute to all relevant programme, project, and technical meetings.
- Ensure that technical solutions are produced to outperform on costs while maintaining quality standards and timely delivery.
- Provide technical support during construction, assembly, and commissioning stages as needed.
- Ensure that all technical work adheres to the correct standards and specifications, following appropriate systems of work and quality assurance.
- Contribute to sustainability targets by reducing embodied and operational Carbon Footprints of solutions.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with people from various partner organizations, backgrounds, and disciplines.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams, partners, the client, and the general public.
- Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, offering open and honest feedback.
- Perform other duties, training, and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and consistent with the level of responsibility for this role.
