English Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate English graduate to join our team as an English Graduate Teaching Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in education, working closely with students to enhance their understanding and love for the subject.

About the Role

As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom support, working closely with the English Department to deliver engaging and effective English lessons. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the delivery of English lessons, helping students with reading, writing, and comprehension tasks.
  • Providing targeted assistance to students, working one-on-one or in small groups to help them overcome challenges and excel academically.
  • Aiding in the preparation of lesson materials and resources to ensure smooth and effective teaching.
  • Acting as a mentor and positive role model, encouraging students in their academic and personal development.
  • Helping to monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers, contributing to the development of tailored support strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in English or a related field.
  • A strong passion for education and a desire to help students succeed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of varying abilities.
