Specialist Practitioner Children's

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Practitioner Children's to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in dietetics and a proven track record of leading and managing teams. They will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and research support to the metabolic team, as well as developing and implementing innovative projects to improve patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent, and will be a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) or equivalent. They will also have extensive post-graduate training in Inborn Metabolic Disorders and will be proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office and nutritional analysis packages.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and will have the ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate innovative projects. They will also have the ability to mentor, facilitate and/or clinically supervise other members of the MDT.
We are a forward-thinking department of 48 dietitians committed to clinical governance initiatives. We are looking for a dynamic, flexible and innovative dietitian who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the metabolic team and provide clinical expertise and research support
- Develop and implement innovative projects to improve patient care
- Mentor, facilitate and/or clinically supervise other members of the MDT
- Provide training and education to all health professionals
- Contribute to the development of the department's clinical governance initiatives
- Four-year degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent
- Member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) or equivalent
- Extensive post-graduate training in Inborn Metabolic Disorders
