About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer who wants to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on our team. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a team of senior engineers and overseeing the design and construction of large-scale de-carbonisation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of senior engineers and provide guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
  • Oversee the design and construction of large-scale de-carbonisation projects, including commercial, residential, hotel, and leisure sectors
  • Hold design team meetings and conduct design reviews to ensure high-quality designs
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide training and development opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in building services consulting
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or building services
  • Proficient in design software including Hevacomp, IES, Autocad, and REVIT
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
