About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. You'll supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy General Manager to ensure seamless care delivery. Your responsibilities will include supporting the clinical team in areas such as medication management, assessments, care plans, and care reviews. You'll also contribute to creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that respects the dignity and preferences of our residents.

About You

We're looking for individuals with an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, as well as specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. You'll need to be warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to providing individualised care and support. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll have opportunities for ongoing training and development, enabling you to progress your career within our organisation. Many of our Senior Care Assistants have progressed into Care Practitioner, Regional Care, or nursing roles.
