About the Role:

Caterplus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Deansfield Court. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for managing a team of 6 colleagues, preparing and cooking high-quality meals, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of 6 colleagues to deliver exceptional service and quality food
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents, ensuring high standards of presentation and taste
  • Control and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
  • Conduct weekly stocktakes and manage inventory
  • Responsible for ordering and procurement

Working Pattern:

5 days over 7 hours per week, with a working day from 7:30am to 3:00pm

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a team leader or manager in a catering or food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team
