EHSQ Manager

We are seeking an experienced EHSQ Manager to join our London team at Otis College of Art and Design. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry and a proven track record in implementing EH&S programs.

• Develop and implement the EHSQ strategy for Otis, aligning with company goals and injury reduction targets.
• Provide technical and EHSQ management advice, support, and guidance to managers and employees on EH&S issues, programs, and systems.
• Support the implementation of audit processes, including design, planning, training, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Manage and be accountable for specific EH&S projects, ensuring compliance with legislation, Otis requirements, and injury reduction.
• Investigate, propose, and follow through on developments in Otis's safety and environmental management systems.
• Support the management in investigating accidents, identifying root causes, and developing corrective action plans.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Otis's EHSQ management system, including health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct metric-based progress reviews and provide accurate and timely monthly reporting on accidents, corrective actions, environment, audits, and leading indicators.

• EH&S professional qualification (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent).
• Environmental qualification (IEMA Cert or equivalent).
• ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, and 45001:2018 auditor (desirable).
• Construction project management experience.
• BSc/BA desired.
• Experience in implementing EH&S programs.
• Training qualification and experience (CIEH professional trainer).
• Knowledge of the lift and escalator industry.
• Current with EHSQ practices and legislation.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to report and present information effectively.
