Stock Control Specialist

AD Finance is seeking a highly skilled Stock Analyst to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving stock control processes, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:- Stock Control and Analysis: Develop and implement effective stock control processes, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the management team to assess and build processes for future growth and projects, ensuring seamless stock movements and minimal financial loss.
- Reporting and Feedback: Create regular reporting routines to track stock errors, write-offs, and short-dated items, providing actionable insights to management.
- PI Check Schedule: Implement a reliable and effective PI check schedule, ensuring accurate system entry and goods movements.
- Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor and improve stock movement processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes as needed.
- Supplier Returns: Assist with the supplier returns process, ensuring correct system entry and goods movements.
- Inter-Branch Transfers: Oversee inter-branch transfers, understanding system controls, pricing adjustments, and mitigating timing differences.
- Stock Control Function: Manage the stock control function and team, including housekeeping activities, audited stock takes, and annual stock valuations.
- Communication: Liaise with external customers and logistics companies, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
- Training and Development: Create training guides and systems, conducting group training and store visits to ensure compliance with procedures.
- Attitude and Skills: Demonstrate a can-do attitude, resilience, and adaptability, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
