Cyber Security Consultant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our client, a global leader in the defence industry. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing, building, integrating, and providing through-life support to all Submarine Platforms in the Royal Naval fleet.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring submarine systems and products are developed to support the delivery of an appropriately secure and resilient product.
  • Applying security baselines, mitigations, and controls to protect against cyber threats.
  • Producing RMADS and adhering to MOD policies and regulations such as SPF, JSP 440, and JSP 604.
  • Understanding and addressing the security challenges related to operational technologies and control systems.

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team working on high-profile defence projects. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field or information security.
  • Industry-recognised security certifications such as CCP, CISSP, or CISM.
  • Solid experience in risk assessment and management following industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Background in Product Security, particularly in the defence, maritime, or related sectors.
