Job DescriptionProject Manager - Hardware Product DevelopmentWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of our consumer hardware products, with a focus on wearable and medical technology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hardware product development and experience managing complex projects independently, from concept to market launch.
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing comprehensive project plans that cover scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
- Creating and maintaining detailed project timelines and milestones.
- Defining project requirements and conducting feasibility and needs assessments.
- Coordinating with team leads to assign tasks and optimize resource allocation.
- Managing project budgets and developing cost estimates.
- Overseeing resource needs and acquiring necessary resources.
- Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Facilitating effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and upper management.
- Preparing and presenting project status reports.
- Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- PRINCE2 or similar project management certification.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on consumer hardware product development.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects independently, from concept to market launch.
- Experience working in a start-up environment, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
