We are seeking a skilled Plumber with multi-trade experience to join our Living Space team at Wates. As a key member of our responsive maintenance contract team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

The primary focus of this role will be to undertake all tasks to achieve first-time fix and deliver a high standard of workmanship in a timely and productive manner. This will involve:

  • Understanding and adhering to industry-accepted Health and Safety standards.

  • Undertaking repair and renewal works to plumbing installations and associated minor maintenance tasks, utilizing your multi-trade experience.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to complete complex orders.

  • Utilizing a mobile device to receive instructions and provide electronic feedback on works undertaken or to be undertaken.

  • Liaising with supervisors and schedulers in a timely manner when works are unable to be completed on a first visit, providing detailed information to allow works to be programmed.

  • Providing excellent customer service to residents, clients, and colleagues.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a professional Plumber with multi-trade experience, a driving license, and a minimum of a NVQ Level 2. You will also need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to problem-solve, multitask, and work to tight deadlines.
