Civil Engineer - Highways and Infrastructure Design

Location: Reading

Flux Consulting is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team as a Senior or Principal Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in highways and infrastructure design, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking preliminary and detailed design of highways, commercial, residential, and public realm development, including associated infrastructure and agreements. They will also utilize their post-graduate experience in the design of commercial and residential developments, including infrastructure, external works, and drainage.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and development of highways and infrastructure projects
  2. Collaboration with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements
  3. Development of project proposals and budgets
  4. Management of project teams and resources
  5. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Requirements:

  1. Post-graduate degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in highways and infrastructure design
  3. Strong knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets, NRSWA, and other relevant regulations
  4. Excellent communication and project management skills
