Human Factors Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Human Factors Design Engineer to join our R&D team in Cambridge. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the design of new Medical Devices meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new Medical Devices that adhere to Medical Devices standards, including ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC 62366.
  • Contribute to the development of product design, taking into account Product Development, Industrial Development, and Human Factors Development factors.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.
About the Role
  • Develop and implement Human Factors Design principles to ensure user-centered design.
  • Conduct usability testing and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop design solutions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the Medical Devices sector, either in industry or through PhD/Post Doc roles.
  • Strong understanding of Human Factors Design principles and industry standards.
  • Degree in Human Factors, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related subject.
