We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our strategic development efforts, focusing on building key partnerships and collaborations to enhance services for adults with learning disabilities.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and deliver a Strategic Business Plan in collaboration with trustees, staff, volunteers, and members.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key partners on behalf of The Open Door Centre.
- Drive fundraising efforts, diversifying income streams and exploring new opportunities.
- Liaise with external partners to develop joint grant bids aligning with our strategic objectives.
- Implement effective systems and processes for funder reporting, review meetings, and monitoring fundraising KPIs.
- Proven expertise in third-sector fundraising, including corporate fundraising, funder reporting, and grants.
- A proactive approach to engaging with new and existing funders to establish lasting relationships.
- Ability to craft high-quality funding proposals and reports, adapting communication styles for diverse audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for gathering information and enthusing individuals.
- Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, with a strong understanding of KPIs, targets, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
- Proactive, positive, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and inspire others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, the internet, and social media.
