About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tender Writer/Bid Coordinator to join our Business Development Team. The successful candidate will support the Bid and Tender Team in winning new work and retaining existing contracts with local authorities and NHS adult social care providers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with various departments, and have experience in writing and delivering successful written content. They will also be able to communicate our vision and service delivery in writing, in an accessible and engaging manner.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop an understanding of local operational models and national strategy, regulation, and CQC requirements.
  • Deliver written information for tenders, gathering internal and external information, and conducting sound research.
  • Coordinate the written response to tender opportunities, focusing on method statement responses.
  • Manage the completion of individual tender applications, including maintaining awareness of other contracts due for tender, sourcing and triaging opportunities, and collating and rewriting internal contributions.
  • Provide administrative support, maintaining the existing library and portal management, ensuring access to relevant external portals for Adult Services.
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs grade 5 (C) and above, with at least grade 6 (B) in English.
  • A Levels or equivalent relevant occupational experience.
  • Networking skills, working successfully both internally and externally at all levels.
  • Experience of writing and delivering successful written content or strong written communication skills.
