Financial Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Executive to join our client's senior leadership team. As Head of Finance, you will play a key role in shaping the company's financial strategy and direction.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement financial controls, systems, and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Provide financial leadership and guidance to the business, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variances.
- Manage and monitor financial policies, including costing, estimating, margin control, and pricing.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure effective cost control, cost recovery, and expenditure management.
- Oversee accounting activities, including ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation.
- Review customer quotes from a commercial perspective, using robust costing models and understanding of profitability drivers.
- Compile and review departmental budgets, considering actual performance, previous expenditures, estimated expenses, and income.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory financial accounting responsibilities.
- Liaise with professional advisors, including bankers, auditors, tax advisors, and solicitors.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or ACMA qualification.
- Experience in the Manufacturing industry, preferably with standard costing implementation.
- Track record of delivering digital transformation projects and working with systems.
- Multi-site experience, managing across borders.
- Previous responsibility as a No.1 Finance role or ready to take this next step.
- Willingness for occasional UK travel to Group Head Office and European sites.
- Strong character to influence and add value to the senior management team in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion, ambition, and drive, together with commercial acumen to support growth plans.
- Interpersonal and leadership skills to coach and educate staff.
- Generous starting salary in the region of £70,000 - £75,000.
- Additional car allowance of c£7,000.
- 10% Bonus.
