Financial Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Executive to join our client's senior leadership team. As Head of Finance, you will play a key role in shaping the company's financial strategy and direction.

1. Develop and implement financial controls, systems, and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
2. Provide financial leadership and guidance to the business, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variances.
3. Manage and monitor financial policies, including costing, estimating, margin control, and pricing.
4. Collaborate with departments to ensure effective cost control, cost recovery, and expenditure management.
5. Oversee accounting activities, including ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation.
6. Review customer quotes from a commercial perspective, using robust costing models and understanding of profitability drivers.
7. Compile and review departmental budgets, considering actual performance, previous expenditures, estimated expenses, and income.
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory financial accounting responsibilities.
9. Liaise with professional advisors, including bankers, auditors, tax advisors, and solicitors.

1. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or ACMA qualification.
2. Experience in the Manufacturing industry, preferably with standard costing implementation.
3. Track record of delivering digital transformation projects and working with systems.
4. Multi-site experience, managing across borders.
5. Previous responsibility as a No.1 Finance role or ready to take this next step.
6. Willingness for occasional UK travel to Group Head Office and European sites.
7. Strong character to influence and add value to the senior management team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Passion, ambition, and drive, together with commercial acumen to support growth plans.
9. Interpersonal and leadership skills to coach and educate staff.

1. Generous starting salary in the region of £70,000 - £75,000.
2. Additional car allowance of c£7,000.
3. 10% Bonus.
