About the Role:

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Manager to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will play a leading role in the design of civil engineering projects, working alongside a team of specialist engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver technically excellent and profitable infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, flood risk assessments, and utility infrastructure.
  • Work closely with colleagues across various engineering disciplines to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in design.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level education in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng).
  • Working towards or achieved chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) (CEng or equivalent).
  • Demonstrable experience in a Civil Engineering role within a consultancy environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant civil design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PDS, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, or Causeway Flow.

Desirable:

  • Experience of infrastructure as part of multidisciplinary building projects.
