About the Role

We are seeking a talented Content Creator to join our team at Reach PLC, a leading digital publisher in the UK. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content about restaurants, bars, events, and other activities in the Birmingham area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and creating high-quality content for our What's On section, including reviews, profiles, and stories.
  • Developing and implementing a content strategy to increase engagement and reach on social media platforms.
  • Collaborating with our editorial team to ensure consistency and quality of content.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the Birmingham area and identifying opportunities for content creation.

Requirements

  • NCTJ preliminary or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and subbing skills.
  • Strong social media presence and ability to engage with our audience.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and ability to optimize content for search engines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
