About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Accountancy Elite. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing guidance and support to junior team members, reviewing management accounts and VAT returns, and preparing management accounts with more technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Financial Analysis: Review management accounts and VAT returns, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for financial planning and control.
  • Accounting and Taxation: Prepare management accounts with more technical requirements, including financial statements and tax returns.
  • Client Management: Manage a small portfolio of clients, overseeing client deadlines and helping the team to prioritize their workload.
  • Communication: Respond to technical accounting and finance-related queries from staff and clients, and effectively manage client communication.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, with a strong background in financial analysis and accounting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
