Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer

We are working with a renowned design consultancy specializing in Building Services as they expand their engineering team in the South West. Our client is seeking a Graduate or Junior Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in Building Services design to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and directors to deliver design projects
  • Support the production of design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Assist in design calculations and prepare detailed drawings that meet compliance and quality standards
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, gaining valuable client-facing experience
  • Learn and develop proficiency in industry-standard design software such as IES, Revit, and Hevacomp
Requirements:
  • A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
  • Interest or experience in Building Services design, with a strong desire to grow in this area
  • Familiarity with design software such as IES, Revit, or Hevacomp is beneficial but not essential – training will be provided
  • A proactive approach to learning and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
