Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with customers to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement those solutions on Azure.
  • Operate within a structured environment, including ITIL and ISO 20000 IT Service Management, and document designs, processes, and procedures.
  • Be the focal point for major incidents or investigations and liaise cross-functionally, both externally and internally.
  • Present and report in person and virtually to key stakeholders and curate communication to ensure effective collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate practical experience as a Senior Azure Administrator (or similar) working in IT or related industries.
  • Be confident in your experience and knowledge of the full product lifecycle, including concept generation, design, build, and support.
  • Have dedicated time to design, build, and support Enterprise solutions.
  • Be adept at interpreting, understanding, and solving complex technical issues and incidents.
  • Be proficient with customer-facing interactions and operating in a project delivery or consultancy environment.
Technical Requirements
  • Practical working experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server.
  • Specialization in at least 3 of the following technical areas: Kubernetes, SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), M365 (InTune), WAF (Web Application Firewall), Citrix, Storage, or Azure.
  • Experience across Private and Public Cloud Networks and cloud deployment, including VMWare, HyperV, Office365, AWS, Azure, Citrix, or similar.
  • Disaster recovery and site replication solutions experience.
  • Knowledge of Storage Area Networking and other storage solutions.
Additional Information

This role is hybrid, with an expectation to visit customer sites or Version 1 offices as required. The team currently visits once a month. We have offices in Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, London, Manchester, and Newcastle Upon Tyne.
