Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on automated production equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance routines to minimize equipment failures.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues, including three-phase control systems.
- Conduct thorough fault analysis and repair hydraulic or pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the planning and execution of small installation projects to enhance production efficiency.
- Continuously monitor and optimize machine efficiency through data-driven improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including transit areas, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with the operations team to achieve production targets and drive business growth.
- Adhere to strict health and safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Contribute to cost-effective technical solutions that drive business efficiency.
- Participate in a weekend call-out rotation to provide 24/7 support.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Proven experience working in mechanical or electrical maintenance, including breakdowns, repairs, and fault diagnosis.
- Advanced electrical fault-finding skills, particularly with PLCs, drives, and inverters.
- Strong understanding of engineering diagrams, HV/LV switchgear, and electrical drivers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess a full clean driving license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
