Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing specialist psychology services to adults with sickle cell disease or thalassaemia. The postholder will be responsible for providing specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes.
Main Duties- Provide specialist psychology services to adults with sickle cell disease or thalassaemia.
- Operational line management and clinical supervision of a Band 7 psychologist.
- Entry-level qualification in Applied Psychology (professional Doctorate, or combination of MSc plus PG Diploma level additional training) accepted by the HCPC for professional registration.
- Registered with the HCPC as Practitioner Psychologist, with evidence of continuing professional development as required by the HCPC.
