Primary Teacher Position

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate primary teacher to join our team in a Nottingham school. As a primary teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to a Year 2 class, working with children who have additional needs and collaborating with teaching assistants to provide a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, differentiating the work to meet the needs of all students.
- Provide general group support and use sports as an enrichment activity to promote learning and concentration.
- Work alongside teaching assistants to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage learning and concentration in lessons, using a range of strategies to engage students.
- Lead sports classes indoors and outdoors, promoting physical activity and teamwork.
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating energy and a willingness to support students.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children in a mainstream school setting.
- Experience working with children with challenging behavior, autism, ADHD, and social and emotional mental health.
- Relevant qualifications, including QTS.
- Good understanding of the curriculum and ability to work full-time, 5 days a week.
