Cobb & Jones is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and publish regular financial reports on operational data
- Support the finance business partners in the provision, analysis, and reporting of operational and commercial performance
- Assist in the preparation of financial information for customer tenders, gross margin budgets and forecasts, and budgets
- Improve the company's business intelligence and reporting systems and processes, including data modeling and producing new reports in Power BI
- Develop relationships across the business to understand their processes and reporting needs, proposing new reporting or improvements to existing reporting
- Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as required
- PC literate with intermediate knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, Outlook, and Power BI
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Accounts department experience of at least 3 years
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team
- Experience of working to deadlines and prioritizing tasks
