Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at one of our Secondary schools in Blackpool. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of learning when teachers are unavailable.
Key Responsibilities:- Classroom Management: Oversee classrooms, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere and adherence to school behaviour and safety protocols.
- Lesson Delivery: Follow predetermined lesson plans, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their studies.
- Supporting Classroom Discipline: Promote good behaviour, address disciplinary issues professionally, and provide assistance to students as required.
- Reporting: Accurately document daily activities, student progress, and any concerns, relaying this information to the appropriate teaching staff.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references.
- CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent (preferred).
- Degree or equivalent (preferred).
