Job Title: Fire Service Operations Manager

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Service Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our fire service operations to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage fire service operations to ensure effective response to emergencies
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve fire safety and risk management
  • Collaborate with other emergency services to ensure seamless response and coordination
  • Manage and develop a team of fire service professionals to ensure high levels of performance and professionalism
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
Requirements:
  • Substantive and competent in operational Wholetime Crew or Watch Manager role within a UK Local Authority Fire and Rescue Service
  • Able to demonstrate significant leadership experience and a strong track record of success
  • Hold a valid IFE Level 3 certificate in Leadership and Management or equivalent
  • Hold a valid IFE Level 3 Certificate in Fire Service Operations and Incident Command
  • Be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of fire safety and risk management principles
Selection Process:

The selection process will involve a written report, presentation, and interview with a panel. Further details on these elements will be provided to those individuals whose application was successful.

Successful candidates will be committed to working as part of a strong team to deliver services across Lincolnshire and will be able to demonstrate resilience, develop and implement business change, and demonstrate a values-based approach to leadership.
