Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcasting Engineer - Network Operations Center to join our team at Christy Media Solutions. As a key member of our shift team, you will play a critical role in controlling all Network Operations Center (NOC) operations for our internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control and integrity checks on all incoming and outgoing video/audio signals
  • Communicate faults to engineering support staff and customers
  • Undertake routine testing and maintenance of transmission equipment and operating Master Control switchers
  • Provide technical advice and assistance across studios, lines, and live operations
  • Coordinate services with customers, satellite operators, and 3rd party providers

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working within a Network Operations Center
  • Familiarity with broadcast system standards and waveform measurements
  • Good working knowledge of RF, uplink, multiplex, encoding, and conditional access systems, video routers, talkback units, and video monitoring systems
  • Flexible work approach, including shift work, nights, and weekends
