Job Summary:

The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Radiology Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Radiology Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality radiography services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Radiology Department, including managing schedules, coordinating patient appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the department, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the department.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality radiography services.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a radiology department.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
