About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team at Yusen Logistics. As a Transport Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the coordination of our delivery operations for goods leaving our busy Derby site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating customer deliveries, briefing and debriefing drivers in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Ensuring accurate paperwork and escalating any issues or abnormalities to the Transport Supervisor
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety and transport mandatory procedures for both employees and visitors
  • Supporting any audit work and target achievement

Requirements

  • A good understanding of transport procedures, including WTD (Working Time Directive) and EU Driver regulations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
